When selling a house, the property has to be squeaky clean and immaculate. If it’s in a state of superficial mess it’s less likely to sell. Even though it’s the same house. People are shallow. Put yourself in their head. What are they thinking when they are looking at your vehicle? If you do this certain things that you didn’t see before might come to attend, such as dents and scrapes. As has already been stated above, people are shallow and if your vehicle is dirty and filthy, it doesn’t matter how well it runs and performs, it doesn’t even matter if it’s a steal, you will have much more trouble selling it. So be sure to wash and wax the exterior to within an inch of its very existence. You want to be able to eat off of every surface. Anything less is unacceptable.
Have a good search for any personal items in all the nooks and crannies. There might be something under the seat, and you might have left tools in the vehicle boot. Make sure you are confident in the knowledge that every last inch is empty of things, otherwise if you sell it and an old family heirloom fell down the back of one of the back seats, you will never see it again.
